Tony and crew at TMS is that doctor or dentist that you hope NEVER retires and you can patronize for the rest of your life...they are THAT good...been with Tony for 20+ years...he is "da BEST"...knowledgeable and trustworthy...can't ask for more...!!!

This shop comes highly reccomended. You may want to call ahead for an appointment. They do mechanical work on passenger cars, SUV and light trucks and while they don't do bodywork, they can refer you. I have towed many cars to this shop and never heard a complaint.

Honest, fair shop. They do not push unnecessary repairs. I needed a catalytic converter to pass the smog test and they were honest enough to recommend a muffler shop that would do it for less than they could. I also had a broken windshield and they recommended I go to the glass shop even though they could do it themselves. They also provide free rides while the car is being worked on. So far I've been very satisfied with their service.

I've been going to TMS for years, because of their honest service. They will never push unnecessary repairs, and often suggest alternative methods for saving some money. They perform quality repairs, and have always gone above and beyond to make sure customers are more than satisfied.

I've been bringing all of my vehicles to TMS for nearly 20 yrs now. I've never had an issue with any work done. The work is impeccable, on time and reasonably priced. Highly Recommended!

Excellent service here, and quick! I got my car back within the hour which is a record for car repair. I brought my Acura MDX to TMS for a problem that eluded me, and Tony fixed it right away. He couldn't have been nicer either. The garage is 2 blocks away from bus lines on International, and 1 mile from Lake Merritt BART.

I’ve been going to see Tony for the last 10 years or so. I’ll follow him wherever he goes because he is honest and kind and he works really really hard. I always feel taken care of when I call him up to bring my car in. I’ve never had a problem with my vehicle after he repairs it as Tony and his staff all stand behind their work. As a woman, I am used to auto repair shops trying to get over on me for my lack of knowing the basics about cars. Never my experience with TMS Automotive. He explains everything to me and makes sure I understand before I sign off on the work being done. All of my immediate family and co-workers go to Tony because of my recommendation and keep going back because they find what I say is true about him. I highly recommend him!

I have been going to TMS for 5 years and I consistently recommend them. They are consistent, affordable, quick, and courteous. Whenever I bring my car in, I feel comfortable knowing it’s in good hands, and while auto repair isn’t my favorite thing to spend money on, I always know that I’m getting a fair quote at TMS. They have always been happy to answer any questions, and don’t push work that I don’t need, so I really trust them when they tell me that something needs attention. Tony, Ngoc, and the rest of the crew are solid dudes who do great work. As long as I’m in Oakland, these are my car guys.
